National Oxygen completed construction of
3rd air separation plant

National Oxygen Pte Ltd, one of the largest
industrial gas manufacturers in Singapore, recently completed
construction of the 3rd air separation plant in its
Jurong facility hosted a plant completion ceremony and 25th
anniversary celebration. The event was held at Meritus Mandarin
Hotel on 20th November 2007 and was officiated by
Mr. Ko Kheng Hwa, Managing Director of Economic Development
Board. |
The opening of the new plant will mean that National Oxygen has
more than doubled its industrial gas production which includes oxygen,
nitrogen and argon. The new air separation plant will provide better
energy efficiency compared to the existing plants, as well as improved
reliability and safety. In addition, National Oxygen also installed
5 large sized storage tanks and completed construction of its new
administration building.
"Taking into consideration of the steady growth in Singapore
and its surrounding markets, I am convinced that the state-of-the-art
new air separation plant manufactured by Taiyo Nippon Sanso should
contribute to the industries in Singapore with stable and reliable
supply of industrial gases by NOX" said Mr. Hirosuke Matsueda,
President of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation.
