National Oxygen Pte Ltd (NOX) has clinched the Minister for Defence Award, the highest award for the Total Defence Awards introduced by the Ministry of Defence. The Award recognizes the company's outstanding and consistent contributions towards the nation's defence.

NOX has also been inducted into the prestigious Minister for Defence Awards (MIDAs) League as a leader and advocates of national defence. This is the highest award any organization can receive. At the Total Defence Awards Presentation Ceremony and Dinner held at the Shangri La Hotel, (25 July 2007) Minister for Defence, Mr Teo Chee Hean presented the Award to NOX Managing Director Mr Shigeto Umatani.
