The company was established in 1982, being the first oversea subsidiary company by Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation, is today a major gas supplier in Singapore. Apart from Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon and Hydrogen, NOX now produces and delivers a wide range of gases including Helium, Carbon Dioxide, Specialty Gases as well as Electronic Gases to more than hundreds of customers locally and across South East Asia.

Today, NOX employs more than 100 people. Its products and services are used in scores of industries including oil and petrochemicals, shipyards, steel mills, hospitals, institutions, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, electronics and metal fabrication. Over the years, the company has received multiple awards from many customers and government agencies.
